LATEST REPORTS

Hello Grace House Family!
Wow! The Lord has blessed us with some beautiful weather recently and also a beautiful spiritual climate. Sunday by Sunday it seems the sweetness of the Holy Spirit’s presence and the love of God is more and more tangible in our midst. This past Sunday there was such an "Awe" as we basked in His presence. We witnessed the tears trickling down the faces of people as they were touched and heard declarations and prophetic words that encouraged us all. The word was shared that the Holy Spirit was about to begin visiting people and couples in their homes and they would begin to experience renewal in their relationship with God and each other. This has now begun.
I am so amazed at what God is doing. This past Tuesday morning at our weekly men’s group in our home, we were swept away by the testimony of what God is doing. This continued Tuesday night, again at our home, as our worship team members met to fellowship and pray. It was such a sweet yet weighty time. A single testimony shared of how God visited a couple as they lay in bed on Sunday night bore witness again to what God is doing.
The Prayer Teams ministered on Monday night sharing their gifts of encouragement, prophesy, and love with people who asked for prayer. We received a testimony from a precious lady the other night of how the ministry of the prayer team had ignited her spiritual passion and it is obvious to those who know her.
Another interesting thing that is a powerful confirmation is that the prayer team gave this dear lady a single word they felt the Lord was speaking to her. Interestingly and without knowing, the word given to the couple who was visited on Sunday night in their home was the same word. The man heard God speak this word audibly. Praise the Lord!
We are excited to have Frannie Deaton as our Children’s Minister and she is doing such a great job in helping advance our children’s ministry. Wasn’t it beautiful to see her gathering the children together in the midst of worship last Sunday and watch them follow her out? Our Grace House kids are very special and God’s hand is upon their lives. Parents remember to pray blessing over your children.
Here are some practical updates that will also excite you:
1. We have placed an order for theater seating for our new worship center. Listen to this. We are getting seats that were in the Wynn Las Vegas Casino. This billion dollar casino installed these seats just 3 years ago. They change things out often. The good news is these seats are like brand new. They originally cost over $600 each. They are extremely comfortable and are covered with a very high end velour fabric. Yea God! We are getting them for a fraction of the original cost and they will be customized to fit our auditorium. He is transferring what the world has paid for to us….and…I believe they will be paid for promptly. We need $28,612.00 and they are paid for. That is far below the original $215,000 they would cost us new shipped to us.
2. We are evaluating bids on getting lighting and sound installed. We are trying to figure out how to set up all the cables and wiring that we will eventually need and just buy the equipment we can get by with now. That way, we can add as more money comes in.
3. We will need to redo the floor and paint the walls, build staging and a audio/visual booth and we will be ready to use it. Please believe and pray with us that all this would come together. We were full this past Sunday with people standing in the back. We need the room to facilitate what God is doing.
4. We have selected and ordered the carpet to be installed in the play area of our children’s center. This will create a more beautiful, safe, and comfortable area for us. They will schedule installation once the carpet arrives which we hope will be this week.
5. I have received some great letters from the four churches we sponsored to begin in the Ukraine the past few months. It is such a blessing to hear how God is blessing them. Your gifts have helped people come to Christ and now they are meeting each week and being taught by a Pastor whom you have provided the support they need for their first year of ministry. God bless Alfred McCrosky and Bibles for Russia for their obedience in seeing 1000 of these churches planted in the past 18 years.
6. Tentative plans for a mission trip to Trinidad are in the works. Please pray that it will come together as the Lord desires.
7. We had great response and interest from you regarding expanding our small group ministries. Todd Bullard will keep you posted and is planning some "LUNCH AND LEARN" events for those interested.
Please invite your friends to attend with you this coming Sunday which is EASTER Sunday. What a joy to be able to know it personally and to share with the world…..HE LIVES!!!!
Blessings,
Pastor Eddie
PS — I appreciate your prayers as I go to UAB on Monday for a procedure to correct the electrical activity in my heart. I have more electricity going to my heart than it can handle.

"God is so good!" We say this all the time and it’s true all the time. I hope and pray that His goodness is blessing your life this week. I am so excited about the tricklings of glory that we are beginning to see at
Grace House in a new way.**Personally, as I shared this past Sunday, these past few weeks have been unbelievably awesome. God has sovereignly washed over me with His love and it is inexplicable. I cannot understand it all, but it is certainly wonderful. These waves of love and glory just keep coming at unexpected times.
He has put his battering ram of love to some long standing walls in my inner world and now they are gone. My familiar emotional hiding places are gone and I am finding I do not miss them. Mikki and I are experiencing a new "honeymoon and holymoon" if you will. I just pray that this river will flow out of us more than ever before so that others can enjoy it as much as we are. He is the God who restores!
This does not mean we have arrived. We still have struggles, but we are finding that they are very short-lived and cannot stand with any power in the presence of this love that is flowing.
Imagine standing in the ocean about 100 yards from shore with your face to the ocean with your eyes closed…..got it. Now, you know that a wave is coming but you are not sure when….then….it hits you. You try to regain your balance and then another one hits you. This is the best way I can describe it right now. The waves are are coming at intervals. If there is a lull, then you find yourself wondering if it is over……and then in the middle of your wondering,,,,another one knocks your world off balance. I love you all and may this love increase for us all.
**The testimonies are growing from those who have received prayer from our new prayer ministry teams. God is really using the body at Grace House. It is so encouraging to see these teams of 4-8 people praying over others.
Yesterday, a brother spoke to me who had recently received ministry. A prophetic word came forth about seeking his father’s blessing. He set up a time, and went to see his father. They ended up spending several hours together sharing things that had built up between them. During this time, his father, stood before him, and prayed a father’s blessing over his life. He testified to me that as a result of that prayer and time with his father, a shift occurred, and things have gone to another level in his whole family. The relationship with his father experienced a needed healing. Thank God for how he can speak to us through prayer.
Another brother shared with me two days ago how he had been prayed for a couple of weeks ago and the Lord spoke things through the prayer ministry team that no one knew about but the Lord. He was so encouraged and testified that it has changed his life. You could hear the excitement and love in his voice.
These are just two of many testimonies that are occurring. Remember, we are encouraging all of you to sign up for a time of ministry. It usually lasts about 45 minutes. It will be encouraging and life giving to you. God is love and that is what you will experience.
**Last Sunday’s service was incredible. The presence of the Lord was so thick and the love so real. We had a bunch of visitors. One dear man met Mikki and me at the back of the church. He shared, "I have been to a lot of churches and I want you to know that the love of God is so real in this place." He shared that even though he was unknown to almost everyone there, that many people had come to him and he felt so loved. He shared that God’s Spirit is here and this is a special place.
Another man was in the service who had been in ministry for years. He had recently experienced some major pain in his life and ministry. As I held him in my arms in the altar area, he broke into tears. I was so grateful to be able to speak words of healing and life over him and we both sensed the presence of God so powerfully. He finally spoke and said, "I feel so at home here." How humbling it is to experience God moving in our midst to bring His love to the broken-hearted.
**Ross has arrived by home safely from South Africa. We are so grateful for his willingness to travel to the nations to spread the good news of Jesus. Continue to pray for Ross as he spreads the fragrance of God’s love South Africa and other places.
**On some practical matters, here is a bullet list of things happening:
-We (the Elders) are bringing Franie Deaton on board as our Children’s Minister. We will make the formal announcement very soon. We realize we are in need of this step in order to continue to grow and provide what we need to provide for our children. Franie has such a precious heart and spirit and has done a wonderful job for us and so we desire to place her on staff and enable her to help move us forward.
-This week carpet is being selected and will be installed in the play area of our children’s center. This will help with comfort, protection, and sound.
-We now have bids in on the sound and lighting for our new worship center. We will be meeting next week to look them over and begin to make decisions regarding what we will do.
-We have been in contact this past week with a couple of different vendors regarding the seating for the new worship center. We are looking at the possibility of getting some really good used seating at a greatly reduced price. I actually am expecting a returned call today with more info.
-Our worship team members will be meeting at our house this coming Tuesday night for food and fellowship.
-We are planning an outing for the Grace House family. We will meet in a local park on a Sunday morning after we have a brief worship service at Grace House. More details coming soon after we nail down a date for a pavillion….
-Mikki and I will also be hosting a fellowship for our 20-Something couples in the next two weeks. We are working on the invitation which should go out shortly.
-I have been in touch with the corporate headquarters for Jack’s Restaurants regarding some used indoor or outdoor playground equipment. It seems they are making changes in their restaurants and we may be able to get some great equipment that will save us thousands and thousands of dollars. Please pray for favor.
**Todd will be meeting with those interested in plugging into a small group or starting a new one. If you have interest in small groups, talk to Todd. We encourage everyone at Grace House to be involved in a small group with other believers. This is so essential for our personal growth. The opportunities are listed on our website.
**We have several people battling physical difficulties. Let’s all pray for healing to come and bodies to be strengthened.
**Thank you all for praying for my heart. I am doing much better and am scheduled for a procedure at UAB hospital to correct this issue with which I was born.
**Easter is just around the corner. Who could you ask to attend Easter Sunday service with you at Grace House?
**Take a moment and email me a friend the link to our website. Ask them to check it out. The weekly sermons are posted there, as well as these pastor updates I email out. Our website URL is
http://www.gracehouse.info** I do not forward emails as a general rule due to the number of them I get, but recently I was sent a short word shared by Rick Joyner from MorningStar. Rick is a very balanced and very Spirit-led brother. I encourage you all to read his short article. I plan to post it on our website, but I share it below following my signature for those of you who desire to read it.
Blessings,
Pastor Eddie
the Ministry of the Lord

Certainly our ministry titles have a place in helping the Church understand the ministry we have. However, the overuse and misuse of spiritual titles has terribly devalued our spiritual currency in recent times. It is hard not to meet anyone in ministry now who does not claim to be an apostle, bishop, or prophet. It has become so outlandish that when I see those whom just call themselves "pastor," I immediately have respect and trust for them just because of their modesty.
Even so, we are in a time when these ministries are being restored to the Church, and we would be missing the purposes of the Lord to not expect them. We should seek to recognize and receive them. If we receive a prophet in the name of a prophet, we will receive a prophet’s reward, but if we receive a prophet as just a teacher, then we will only get teaching. The same is true of all ministries. If we receive an apostle as just a teacher, we will only get teaching. However, if we receive a teacher as an apostle, we are likely to get wrong or bad leadership. Because of this, there is a responsibility on the part of leadership to "know those who labor among you."
Again, there is a place, and even a need for using ministry titles, as even the Apostle Paul resolutely defended his apostleship. Even so, he was doing it for the people, not just for himself. There was no self-promotion or bombast in his defense, but rather the spirit of a father instructing his children. It has grace, dignity, and high wisdom that we come to know as a hallmark of the true messengers who have been sent by the King.
Likewise, the revelations, dreams, or visions which come from Him have this same grace and dignity. In this age, the Lord leads by calling more than commanding. He has the authority to do what He wants, but, as we see in Revelation 3:20, He is standing outside of His own Church and knocking to see if anyone will hear and open up to Him. The reason for this is because we are in the age when He is seeking out those who will be joint heirs with Him, who will obey because they love the truth, not just under compulsion. For this reason, we should never feel pressured into action by a true prophetic revelation, but rather called. There have been times when we can receive a warning about something that requires action, but even those should come in the dignity and grace of the Lord, calling for a response, not pressuring, as we read in James 3.
I have learned that whenever I was compelled to do something fast, it was not from the Lord, and the action was usually a big mistake. The Lord, who sees the end from the beginning, is not going to be caught off guard so that He will have to rush us into something. I know of a number of biblical exhortations to wait on the Lord and to be patient, but I do not know of a single one that compels us to hurry. After much experience and many mistakes, I’ve learned certain things about the way He speaks and leads.
Now here’s an important principle that is essential for true ministry, but does fly in the face of what many perceive to be the way we should operate. The Holy Spirit is "The Helper," not "The Doer." When people say that none of them are mixed into the ministry, they are mistaken if it is true ministry. This "mixture" is not only okay, it is necessary. If the Lord had wanted all ministry to be 100 percent Him, with none of us mixed in, then He would never have left, and He would not have let anyone else do anything.
As we have discussed before, in Luke 10 we see the Lord sending His disciples out two by two to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, and cast out demons. They were so successful that when they returned, Jesus said that He saw satan fall from Heaven like lightning. However, it is not until the next chapter, Luke 11, that the disciples ask Jesus to teach them to pray. They did all of this and did not even know how to pray yet!
These disciples were obviously far from perfect, or even mature, when the Lord trusted them with extraordinary authority. Yet, I doubt anyone who was healed, set free, or who heard the good news of the coming Kingdom through them, complained. Even just before Jesus was crucified, the disciples were arguing over who was the greatest, and they were to be the leaders of the Church through its most delicate formative times just a few weeks later. Many years afterward, some of them were still making extraordinary mistakes, such as Peter, who had to be rebuked by the youngest apostle at Antioch because "he stood condemned."
We are foolish if we look for perfection in ministry or in leadership, regardless of how mature they are. Our hope should not be in the vessels, but in the treasure that is in the vessels—the Holy Spirit. If we keep our trust rightly placed in Him, we will not be overly dependent or disappointed by people. If the ministries and leaders are true servants, they will not be seeking to build people’s trust in them, but in the Lord. Jesus, Himself, is the only foundation that can be built upon that will last. If we build people’s trust in ourselves instead of the Lord, we have failed, and that foundation will fail too, because no one but the Lord can carry that kind of burden.
This is important because it is the perfectionist mentality that is based more in a trust in ourselves than in the Lord, which hinders most from stepping out into their calling and ministry. We do not get perfected so that we can be used by the Lord; we get perfected by being used by Him.

I hope and trust that each of you are getting plenty of grace for this week from our loving Heavenly Father. Here are some items of update for you:
~Different of our prayer teams met Mon. and Tues. nights and were able to minister to several people. I have had a few people personally share with me who were ministered to and each of them were blessed and overwhelmed by the love and encouragement they received. The body ministry is definitely what Jesus has in mind for his people. Please remember to sign up for your own time of receiving this ministry of prayer. See Elder David Clark for more info.
~If you were unable to be with us Sunday, I shared 10 Things That Can Happen When Someone Prays for You. The message will encourage you to open your heart to receive from the body of Christ.
~A presentation will be made in the next couple of weeks concerning the process we will go through in getting into our New Worship Center. I am so excited about having a state of the art worship center with theater style sound, lighting, and seating. There are so many ways we will be able to use the facility for kingdom purposes and to build ties with our community. Please pray for wisdom about this project.
~ A new team to help with the development of this project is being put together and we will let you know who they are shortly. Russell Harper, another of your Elders, is working on this for us.
~ We have also put a new administration team in place that will be helping administrate and facilitate the various areas of ministry at Grace House. Our Eldership desires to move more and more into a true "overseeing" role. This new team will step in and help our different ministry leaders get what they need to do what they need to do. This will be a great blessing to us all. Please pray for Teresa Clingan, Betty Stone, Shelia Sission, Adam Gooch and Todd Bullard.
~ Each Sunday during this month, you will hear a short testimony from someone in Grace House who is involved in a small group. We encourage everyone to be part of a small group. If you have questions about being in a small group or would like to form and start a small group, please contact Todd Bullard.
~ We have four of our fellowship that are traveling to the mission field this week. We prayed for them in the service this past Sunday.
Continue to pray for Ross Smith who will be spending most of this month in South Africa ministering. Ross is being used by the Lord to bring believers together for transformation in his home country of South Africa.
Pastor Mikki, Melissa Carter, and Sarah Davis are on their way to Thailand where they will spend the next nine days with Jason and Sarah Ricketts and their girls. They will be ministering on the streets, to other missionaries, in a women’s prison, and more. We feel this is going to be a strong connection for Grace House to help with the golbal human trafficking problem.
We are planning on being able for our Thailand mission team members to share with us through Skype (internet video/audio service) in our Sunday gathering this week; and then, Ross will also share on a following Sunday. What a great day to live in!
~ There is a conference coming up on March 12-13 at Christ Chapel at which Dutch Sheets and others will be speaking. There is a paid registration required. Info at www.theartour.com
~ We are grateful to Chad and Allison Mackey for leading worship this past Sunday. During this time of transition, since Ross has stepped aside to reengage his call to the nations, we will be having our different worship leaders ministering on a rotating basis. We are so blessed to have so many gifted and talented people. Thanks to Kathy, Marie, Chad and Allison for sharing their gifts with us. Mandie Moore is on a sabbatical currently from the worship team for a time of rest. She is, however, continuing some ministry in different settings including other churches, street ministry, and Restoration Ranch. Pray for Mandie during this season as well.
Please pray for our worship leaders and team members as they serve at Grace House. It is more demanding than most people might imagine and involves much preparation, rehearsal and coordinating things.
~ I want to appeal to our Grace House family, and particularly some of our younger people, that we need the following:
*some volunteers to help with the new Easy Worship presentation that puts the words to our songs on the screen for the congregation. It is very user friendly and the songs are easily downloaded for the service.
*I need a person who would be willing to use a flipcamera to interview and record testimonies that are beginning to pop up in Grace House as the Spirit moves and touches people. I have a definite plan of action and way to do this. Please email me if you are interested at eddie@gracehouse.info and we will discuss the particulars and see if it is a fit.
~ Remember you engage assignment this week is to provide a meal, dessert for someone this week. It could be a co-worker that needs encoruagement, a neighbor out of work, or a stranger just needing to know someone cares.
A lot is happening these days at Grace House and most importantly is the sense we all have of a shift that has recently occurred. We praise the Lord for the miracle touch some people are receiving and for the prayer ministry that is taking place.
Blessings,
Eddie Lawrence

Hello Grace House Family,
I pray your week is going well. Remember the "mercies of the Lord endure forever!" Here is some information updates about life at Grace House:
1. Our Prayer Teams met and once again experience some wonderful ministry. Monday night’s teams were hit with snow, but some of them made it and were able to minister to a couple of our people who braved the elements. Following is part of Hugh Stone’s testimony that I mentioned this past Sunday morning. Thank you Hugh for your wonderful testimony and your transparency.
(Excerpt from Hugh Stone’s testimony of receiving ministry from one of our prayer teams)
"I have been prayed over in the past in a similar situation, by people that I considered "more experienced", and "more prophetic". After last night, I have come away from this experience with the revelation that God is no respecter of persons. He will use any vessel He chooses. His love, His voice, His mind, and His heart, are far greater influences that the "prerequisites of experience and reputation".
Each and every individual on "my" team heard from God in unique, very individual, extremely personal ways, spoke into my life, and touched me far deeper than I’m sure they could ever know.
How is it that my hardened heart can be broken, softened, encouraged, and a healing process begun in a 40 minute session? Things that I "knew" had passed me by, as well as things in my past that were still before me, seemed to swap places last night. I am awestruck at the reversal that has occured. I am having to be very careful with my thought life so that I do not "rethink", and undo what happened.
I am convinced that every member, visitor, and child, those young or old, those who have been in the Lord for a lifetime as well as babes in Christ, would benefit from this.
I desire to undergo this again as soon as everyone has had a chance.
I’ve been praying for wisdom concerning how to invest towards retirement. I have decided to buy stock in tissue products… Grace House is going to cause an increase in sales."
Remember to sign up in the foyer area for your time to be ministered to by one of our prayer teams!
2. We have rented a huge inflatable to be used in our children’s area for the next month. It is located in the play pit and the kids love it. We are also looking for something more permanent to place there as well as having that area carpeted and padded. We will also looking to add some additional padding behind the sound proof curtains we have put up so we can then finish it out with some molding. Thanks to Frannie and those helping her in the children’s area and to Rebecca for all she and her workers do in our Nursery area.
3. We will shortly be introducing to you a Admin/Facilitation Team to assist our different ministries in getting what they need in the different area of ministries of Grace House.
4. If you have not yet joined a small group at Grace House, please consider doing so. We also are expecting more groups to be initiated. See Todd Bullard if you have an idea for a small group. Todd will periodically offer some teaching and encouragement to our existing small group leaders as well as potential small group leaders.
5. Remember to bring a "canned" good if you "can" this Sunday (yes, pun is intended). This is last week’s and this week’s Engage assignment. We will be taking the canned goods and creating some boxes to go to help people who occasion by Grace House from time to time in need of food. The coats have been delivered to a local organization who makes them available to people in need. Thank you so much for being involved in these Engage assignments. Just in the last couple of months, we have blessed children in orphanages in Honduras and Thailand, blessed many different people in our own community, and encouraged missionaries in other countries. Together we can accomplish more!!
6. We have ordered a new software (Thanks Paul Corfman) that will enable us to bring more technology into our services. This software will help us with our song lyrics, videos we may present and much more. It will also service the need for what we will be doing in our new worship center.
7. Concerning our new worship center. Our Elders will be meeting this coming week to discuss the next step. There will be a lot of manual labor to be done in grinding off bolts where the old theater seating use to be, stripping up the old tile off the floor, covering and sound proofing the concrete block walls, ordering new theater sitting, building a stage, sound area, and storage area; and, the biggest cost will be installing state of the art sound and lighting equipment. So there is lots to be done and yes money will be needed…….
8. This Sunday will be very special. Dr. Susanna Kokkenen will be with us. She oversees the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem. We are so honored to have her with us and we will be able to receive a very rich deposit that is near to the heart of God. She is a very inspirational speaker so come expecting to be blessed and bring a friend with you.
9. Please be praying for Mikki Lawrence, Sarah Davis, and Melissa Carter who will be leaving in a couple of weeks for Thailand. They will be there for a week to encourage the Rickett family and to minister to the people caught up "slave" industry.
10. Don’t forget to visit our Grace House website from time to time at www.gracehouse.info Also consider encouraging your friends to check it out. Each week’s sermon can also be listened to on the site itself.
Please know all of you are loved and we are so happy about what God is doing at Grace House. I treasure the strong sense of relationship that is present at Grace House and bear witness that the Lord is preparing us to prepare others to live for Him.
Blessings,
Pastor Eddie
Feb. 9, 2010
Hello Grace House Family!
Last night was the first night our prayer teams officially met to begin ministry. Already we are receiving wonderful reports of how God touched people through this ministry of prayer and encouragement. I spoke with Bro. David a bit ago and he shared that the Lord really worked through the different team members and a "revival" atmosphere was present.
Two teams met last night and ministered to six different people. Prophetic words flowed, songs were sung prophetically, the Holy Spirit poured out love and grace. Tears streamed down faces, spirits were lifted, and Jesus was honored. Those who were there will tell you that "surely the presence of the Lord was in this place." Please realize that right now there is an opportunity for us all to experience something deeper in the Spirit, if we will just open our hearts.
I am also happy to report that we have already heard testimony of prayers that were answered as a result of the ministry during Sunday’s service as well. I personally witnessed two different people whose legs were different lengths and saw their legs move to become the same length. One moved over an inch.
Another report as come in from a couple who took Bro. Jim’s advice to begin praying together each day who experienced a "very significant" shift in their finances the very next day. This came after a long period of not knowing how they were going to handle things.
We are experiencing a shift into a deeper body life. Would you take just another moment and read the following Scripture in light of what we are beginning to experience:
Ephesians 4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
This is the pattern of a healthy New Testament church. We are being joined together and receiving from one another and being edified in love and unity.
Remember to sign up for your time of receiving ministry from our teams. Get ready and prepare yourself to receive from this fresh wind of the Holy Spirit that is beginning to blow. I sense a breaking forth of power that will shake us all. As Joni Ames prophesied to us, "It’s about to be fun again!"
Pastor Eddie
Hello Grace House Family!
First I am so encouraged by the wonderful way the Holy Spirit moved in our Sunday gathering this week. The presence of the Lord could be felt tangibly. What a joy to see the gifts of the Spirit operating as people were prayed for and ministered to in the altar area. The worship was tender but powerful and it was obvious that God was granting grace as tears streamed down so many faces. The message on marriage presented by Jim and Anne was so encouraging and needed. It was truly a good day for our Grace Gathering.
Secondly, our prayer team ministry has now been launched. I ask each of you to seriously consider signing up to receive a time of soaking prayer and encouraging ministry from one of our teams. The sign-up forms are located on the bar area next to our worship center. This time of prayer will typically last about 35-45 minutes. I believe that it will bring blessing into your lives. So please prayerfully consider participating.
If you desire to serve on one of our prayer teams, then just speak to Elder David Clark who is overseeing these teams. Again, we feel this is strategic step forward for Grace House. We currently have over forty people involved in this new aspect of ministry and we envision people from our community coming to receive prayer and encouragement from these teams.
Thirdly, we are also stepping forward in the formation of more small group opportunities. Todd Bullard shared with those interested after our service this past Sunday. Please let Todd know if you have a desire in your heart to begin a new group or if you would desire to be a part of training that is offered for small group leaders and potential small group leaders. A small group will allow you to connect more deeply with a group of other believers which we all need.
Lastly, we are moving toward beginning the New Worship Area which will involve the renovation of the largest theater area in our facility. We have gotten bids on sound and lighting for the area and are working on moving forward in getting info on seating, staging, sound proofing, and other items that will be needed. In the future this area will be filled with people who have been touched by God’s grace as well as many events that will release the sound and creativity our region carries.
More and more freedom is headed our way. Grace House will be an outpost of freedom for those hungry to live life in God’s abundant and unbounded grace. We are joining with Jesus to bring healing to the broken-hearted!
Blessings,
Pastor Eddie
PS — Invite a friend to attend with you this coming Sunday!
PSS — Have you considered serving a Sunday helping in our nursery or children’s area?
