Following is a story I shared on Facebook this week that I believe will bless you all:

TESTIMONY: A few days ago a dear brother shared with me an experience he had in his home recently. He had been struggling with some severe back pain and was fighting discouragement with it. As he sat in his recliner he felt impressed to turn to a certain channel on television. When he did, a minister was ministering from the word and it greatly encouraged this brother. He began worshiping the Lord from his recliner. He testified that it was then that he felt God's presence come upon him powerfully. It was as if he were wrapped in divine energy and warmth. He felt fire in his back. He then got up and began praising God without a trace of pain. He continued in worship for quiet some time under the weight of God's presence and power. I wish each of you could have seen what I saw in his eyes and heard what I heard in his voice. He had experienced God's healing presence. Be encouraged, God is!!!

Over 400 Baby Bottles Given Out So Far to Help Shoals Sav-A-Life!

We are involved in supporting Shoals Sav-A-Life by having a baby bottle drive. Over 400 of these bottles have been given out to our church wide family so far. Please be sure to pick up a baby bottle this Sunday which is the LAST SUNDAY to get your bottle. It's as simple as filling the bottles with loose change and encouraging others to do the same. Then return the bottle to the church and all the money will be given to Shoals Sav-A-Life. Your change can change a life.

Bring Some Candy….

More candy and helpers are needed for this coming Wednesday night of fun and fellowship. If you would like to help with the fun-games, see Franie Deaton. If you would like to help with providing candy, just bring it Sunday and drop it in the container in front of our Welcome Center. It's mighty "sweet" of you to help!

Blessings at the Women's Encounter

The North Alabama Women's Encounter held last weekend touched the lives of all the women who attended. The reports and testimonies of changed lives are so encouraging. We are grateful to God for the Encounter weekends and how God is using them in our region.

Pray for Ross Smith and Family and South Africa

Please remember to pray for Ross Smith who will be joined by Shirley and Lisa a little later as he ministers in South Africa. Ross has been used mightily of the Lord in many of our lives and his vision for South Africa is to see Jesus lifted up and for people to know who they are in Him. He leaves this weekend to fly to SA, so pray for safety and for God to bless the new church started there. Pray for Ross as ministers through the word and power of the Holy Spirit.

Thanks Mayor Bobby Irons

Last week, Jim and Anne Bevis oversaw a beautiful event in which Mayor Bobby Irons was honored by several of the pastors in our city at a breakfast held at the Florence Conference Center. It was such a moving and gracious expression of appreciation for the Mayor and his wife, Sarah, who have served faithfully this past eight years. Let's pray for the Mayor during this transition in his life. Also, I was reminded again of how much God uses Jim and Anne as ambassadors of His kingdom. We are blessed to have them in our midst.

Please be in prayer, seek God's guidance, become informed on what the candidates believe and support, and then use the "vote" you have been given to help guide our nation forward. To fail to vote is to forfeit your voice. If you have not registered to vote, then do so as soon as possible.

The Lord would say I am coming, because this is a season where I am getting ready to release my burning ones in Alabama and Tennessee and Mississippi and Georgia and Louisiana and Arizona and Alaska and Florida and New York. I am coming like a mighty rushing wind says the Lord. I am coming to begin to shake everything that can be shaken. But God would say that the enemy has come in, and where the enemy has come in like a flood I raise up a standard. So I say to you I am raising up my standard bearers in this hour for a new holiness movement says the Lord. I am raising up my standard bearers the Lord would say you think there was something that happened with Finney and and Whitfield? oh I am going to do something great with this generation says the Lord. The Lord says you think the Moravians had fire.. oh No! I am going to release my burning ones in a double portion manner from what the Moravians had says God. And the Lord says I am getting ready to thrust laborers into the harvest fields. The Lord says even over northern Alabama , I send the signs to the north says God and the Lord says I will not pass you by. For God says I am getting ready to shake roots that were here even in ancient times of fire that which happened in days past I am going to redig some wells says God. And the Lord would say even what happened in the past in the coal mining towns, and things that happened in the highways and byways says God, I am getting ready to raise up a generation of circuit riders that are my holy ones and they are going to begin to preach to the new generation, I am going to send them city by city, school by school, place by place says God. And I am going to make a decree into that, so Father God we decree over Northern Alabama in a particular way send your revivial fires its awakening! The Lord says some of you have said well there's a lot happened down south but what about us? Oh this is your time! Says God for northern Alabama. Somebody shout!!

Nov. 11th – Chad Dedmon from Bethel in Redding, CA

We are excited to announce that Chad Dedmon will be with us on Sunday morning, November 11th in our Grace House service. He will also be ministering at the ARK service. Chad is from Bethel Church in California where Bill Johnson pastors. Many of you have heard the story of the young man who held a healing meeting at the check out line of a supermarket in Redding, CA where several people got healed. That's Chad. He has seen the eyes of the blind opened and many other miracles. We will be blessed as this young man shares his passion for Christ with us. Let's be praying that we all would receive a greater impartation in the area of love and healing in this special service. I am excited to introduce someone new to our fellowship, Pastor Stan Tyra. Stan lives in Rogers, Ark. where he pastors Revolution Church. We met on the retreat I attended in N.C. back in August. He was also one of the four of us that was in the UTV accident and he is recovering well. I know you will love his heart and spirit as he comes and ministers to us on Sunday morning, Nov, 18th.

Worship Through Giving

Giving of our finances is an act of worship. First, I want to thank all of you who are so faithful in your giving. It truly is amazing how the Lord has provided for Grace House and its vision. Many times, we have had visitors come and ask us how they can give. As you know, we have the offering boxes on the wall by both rear doors with envelopes and we usually pray over the offering in the service. Let's begin to add to the way we receive our offerings. At least for a while, in addition to the offering boxes at the rear of the worship center, let's place two offering baskets at the front on the altar area. Let's let everyone who would like to do so come anytime during the worship to bring their offering to either the boxes on the wall in the back or to the baskets on the altar at the front. As you give, with a prayer in your heart, give thanks to God and offer back to Him a portion of what He has blessed you with. This, of course, is not to be done in any way to be seen of men, but this may help some of us associate our giving with being an act of worship instead of a commitment we have made. Certainly, both are important, and we need both understandings in our hearts as we give. So do as you feel led. You may also simply continue to do as you have before or begin placing your offering in one of the two places as we worship. I feel this is the time to bring more attention to the importance of giving as an act of worship. The main thing is the posture of our heart before the Lord. Our giving has increased. God is blessing us. I just want to be sensitive to any way we can be more focused on having our hearts positioned toward the Lord. Thank you again for your faithfulness in your giving.

Awake, Arise, Come Forth

We had an awesome service last Sunday as well as this past Wednesday night. If you were present, then the picture to the left makes sense to you. Thank you for your willingness to step into the prophetic acts that sometimes come forth when the Holy Spirit gives such directions. It makes a difference. The Lord is reminding us of the power of our unity in Him and the atmosphere of glory that is released when we are in the place of unity before Him willing to obey and move forth to see His Kingdom come and His will be done.

Something powerful happened as we marched in cadence and repeated the following together:

AWAKE, AWAKE, O SLEEPER

HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD

AWAKE, AWAKE, O SLEEPER

IT'S YOUR TIME TO COME FORTH

ARISE!
ARISE!

ARISE!

A DREAM

At the end of the service, a dear lady came forward and shared with me about a dream she had the night before. The dream was about her being called to run in the race for the Lord. She then went into a house. The dream ended with her in a room with people who were asleep who would not wake up. She felt, and I agree, that her dream and the decree we made in the service were a word from the Lord.

BOBBY CONNER WORD

Then on Tuesday, I had several people who sent me a word that Bobby Conner had just released through the Elijah List. Here is part of that word:

"God could have permitted any generation in history to be alive during these decisive days, however He chose us! We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to be alive. We are on Divine Assignment! Signs of the end times are unfolding about us daily (see Matthew 24). Prepare to behold the intervention of God (Isaiah 64:1-2)! Now is the time to seek the Lord with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:12-13 Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

In our day of secular skepticism, it is sad to see many today asking the same question posed in 2 Kings 3:11: "But Jehoshaphat said, 'Is there no prophet of the Lord here by whom we may inquire of the Lord?' One of the king of Israel's servants answered, 'Elisha son of Shaphat, who served Elijah, is here.'"

"Is there not a prophet in the land that we may inquire of him?" Many are posing the same question today! The answer is a resounding yes! The true prophets of God must arise and take their place. Sounding a true and trusted trumpet call awakening the warriors and calling for the army of God to arise (see Joel 2:1-3)."

Again, this word was in line with what we stepped into in last Sunday's service. So I firmly believe, we were a part of helping release something in our region that will begin to awaken people to arise and step into what God is doing. There are many across our region (both believers and unbelievers) who are being held by fear from taking the step into the calling of the Holy Spirit. Let's continue to intercede together for them to awaken.

TESTIMONY: Yesterday (Reference to last Sunday) was WoWsome! During the worship, people came to the altar for ministry and lives were touched. One young lady received an major breakthrough by God's love. We entered into a prophetic moment where the entire congregation marched in place in cadence….left. left. left, right left! as the army of God. Decrees were made over our region. God is stirring so many people right now out of their slumber into a place of rising up into destiny. The musicians entered into this prophetic act, and you could sense something happening as this continued on for some time. The drums and bass grew in intensity; the guitarists began prophesying through their instruments. You could hear a shofar blowing in the room. Then one of our leaders came forth and Mikki and I were called to stand together at the front. The people began to come and give us money. It was so humbling and moving. Over $1800 was given to us as a love offering. What amazing loving people! Before we left, two people came to know Christ in salvation, prophetic words were released, spiritual gifts flowed and healing testimonies were shared and teaching came forth on manifesting the kingdom of God in our lives. Mikki and I came home and spread the money out and prayed over the coins, the dollars, the fives, the tens, the twenties, the hundreds, and the checks….thanking God for each one and asking Him to bless each person who gave and to multiply it over and over again in their lives. We realize that this was another of God's tokens to us in this season. I just want to thank the Lord for such a powerful day and such a great atmosphere of love. He is so awesome! I feel so strongly the Lord calling us to honor Him in all things. To give Him thanks in all things so that our "God awareness" will increase. HE IS!

KINGDOM PLEASURES: Sermon Series

Tomorrow morning, I plan to continue with Pt. 5 of Kingdom Pleasures (unless led otherwise). We will identify a very powerful core value of the Kingdom. Think of it this way…..if Kingdom living is the gunpowder, then this core value is the match. Come and bring a friend. As we do better at being the Kingdom, then we will experience more seeing the Kingdom.

My FaceBook Testimonies

I know all of you may not be Facebook users, so I thought I would share some other testimonies I have shared this week. I have been posting testimonies regularly to encourage others to believe. There is in every testimony the seed for you to see the same thing happening in your life. Every week now I am getting private messages from people requesting prayer for healing. This has become another outlet of ministry and healing.

TESTIMONY: Last night a precious couple who serve as missionaries were sharing with me that they went to the dentist with one of their children. The child was in need of some immediate attention. They asked the dentist what the charges would be. He finally told them that the lady at the desk would let them know. The work was finished and though the cost was $1000.00, the lady at the desk informed

them that there was no charge. Now understand this….they had no insurance, the dentist had never met them and did not know they were missionaries, neither did they ask for any kind of discount. As the couple shared, they expressed their thanks to God for His blessing and a dentist who was moved to cover all the costs. This is a testimony to the sensitivity of a man working as a dentist in our area who obviously felt impressed to do this good deed and to the goodness of God who moved upon his heart. May Father greatly bless this man and his business.

TESTIMONY: I love the way the Lord confirms his direction in our lives. I recently witnessed a prophetic word being released to a dear lady. It was a word that encouraged and gave some direction for her and it confirmed what she had been sensing from the Lord. The person giving the word, stopped and shared, "I see a big bowl and a big commercial type mixer like you would mix up cake batter with." The lady shared, "I am a baker and I bake cakes all day long everyday." This was so cool, especially since this was the first time the two of them had ever met. It helped the lady know for sure that something supernatural was taking place. It was one of those neat God moments when both people knew the Lord was loving on someone. Yes, there is still prophetic ministry today because Jesus still loves people and desires to communicate with them as much today as when he walked the earth. He moves through his Spirit to edify, comfort, and direct.

TESTIMONY: A businessman approached me and began sharing with me how his life has recently been changed through encountering God and having his destiny awakened. He shared that after a worship service in which God's presence deeply touched him, he went home and was unable to sleep all night due to the Lord dealing with Him and filling him full. He is now sharing the love of God with his employees

and friends and bringing them with him. I stood amazed as I saw his countenance radiating the joy of Christ and hearing his words so filled with passion and love for Christ and others. I was deeply moved by his passion to see others come to know Christ and experience his powerful presence daily in their lives. This man is allowing the Lord to use him to create a business environment saturated with Christ's love. Lord stir all our hearts more deeply to do the same!

TESTIMONY: Yesterday I witnessed something so cool. There were two brothers in the Lord carrying on a conversation when they were approached by another man who had walked across the street to where they were. The man asked them if they knew where he could find help. He was leaving to go to work. The house he rented was having problems with the electrical panel and the power was off. He needed a night in the motel nearby for his wife and children. He did not have sufficient cash to pay for the room. I saw the Lord give one of the brothers a word of knowledge about pain in a certain part of the man's head and he placed his hand on the exact spot. The man confirmed that it had been hurting him badly for over a week. The brother prayed for him and he was instantly healed. The man who was healed had a shocked look on his face and said. I have taken all kinds of medications and have been to the doctor this past week and the pain never left, but now it is gone. Then the other brother said, "Your wife is having problems with her lower back and hip and the Lord is touching her now too." The man's wife was not even present. The man said, 'You could not have known that. She had a wreck 14 years ago and that is here continuing problem." The two brothers in the Lord told the man they would pay for his motel and talked to him about Jesus. Before the man left he wanted to know about church and church service times because he was bringing his family to the next service. This all took place in about five minutes. As I witnessed this, I thought….This is God's love shared with a hurting person and the Kingdom of God was manifesting in power and love. I remind you that the Kingdom of God is within YOU!

TESTIMONY: Yesterday I received a text from a man in Illinois. It was a picture of the beautiful baby boy that was just born to him and his wife. The text read, "Guess what I'm doing? Holding the boy your wife prophetically declared about 4 years ago." If you know Mikki, she just doesn't do such things lightly, but four years ago while praying with this couple who was unable to conceive, she prophesied that they would indeed be given a son. Afterwards she had one of those "I can't believe I just said that" kind of moment. Now he is here and what joy there is in this family who has waited so long. God is good!

TESTIMONY: A husband and wife shared with us an awesome testimony of healing. He (the husband) had been suffering for several months with an immunity disease. His strength was gone and his body was weak and battling pain. One night about three weeks ago, he had a dream in which he was told to read the Book of James. It was a couple of days later he actually remembered the dream and shared it with his wife. He read the Book of James and when he got to chapter five where it said, "If any among you are sick, let him call for the Elders of the church to pray…..and anoint him with oil……." So he came to a Wednesday night service and asked for our Elders to pray for him. He sensed the presence of the Lord touching him. The next morning, he was hit with pain again very badly. He remembered the dream, the Scripture and the prayer he had received and confessed, "I am healed in Jesus name." The pain left. Sunday they affirmed again that since that moment, he has gained his strength, the pain has gone, and he is revived in the Lord.. And I might add….you can see it upon his countenance as well. Yes…..He heals us from all our diseases. Pay attention to the dreams you receive from the Lord.

What a great opportunity to go deeper in learning about how to be used of the Holy Spirit to release the Kingdom and seeing lives changed. Classes meet on Monday nights.

Great Conference for Our Children and Parents Hosted by the ARK.

Tokens Coming In….

The testimonies keep coming in. You read one of them in the FaceBook testimonies above. God is so good. There were several major tokens which occurred on the 21st day. Now I believe they will continue as we have been responding in gratitude and praise. Remember to bring your coins to the altar area and place them in the big jar. This money will be sown into a worthy cause outside our church family. It is so exciting to see people recognizing the goodness of God in a deeper way. Yeah God!

Wednesdays are WOWSOME!

Last Wednesday night was so powerful as we all entered into a time of high praise, deep worship, and saw decrees and prophetic words come forth. It was thrilling to hear people come forth who spoke difference languages (Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Thai, etc.) and declare praise to Jesus. The presence of the Lord was powerful. More Lord….

WEDNESDAY WORKERS NEEDED

Our children are also having a wonderful time in Kingdom Station on Wednesday nights. Workers from the ARK have been leading this since our joint services began on Wednesday night. They have asked for some additional workers. These workers do not have to plan the service, just help facilitate the lesson/activities…we need extra numbers of helpers because we have lots of kids in there!Would some of you please consider joining a rotation on Wednesday nights?You would only need to help once every 5-6 week. See Mikki or Heather Ridinger to volunteer.

Supernatural Salt House – Friday Nights

Every Friday night at Salt House meets at our GH/ARK facility. The group is led by Daniel Skelton from the ARK and you are invited to attend. You will be blessed by an atmosphere of God's presence where God's Word, Testimonies, Intercession and waves of love are experienced. The meeting usually starts around 8:00 p.m.

Kyle Searcy – Weds. Sept. 19th

We have invited Kyle Searcy to come and share with all of us on Wednesday night, September 19th in our 6:30 p.m. worship service. Known and gifted as an Apostle, Kyle ministers in a strong Apostolic anointing. He oversees Fresh Anointing House of Worship in Montgomery, AL as well as a network of Fresh Anointing Churches. He also serves as the overseer of the Alabama Apostolic Reformation Council. We will all be blessed. Both Pastor Phillip and I feel that this will be another step forward into what the Lord has for us in our region and our state. Please be praying for God's will to be accomplished in this special service.

Let's Pray Together for This!

Okay, I normally do not do this sort of thing, but I just feel excitement about it in my spirit. This is not meant to be any kind of manipulation, pressure, or salesmanship. Would you pray with me in earnest for the provision for the portable baptistry shown to the left? This would enable us to more easily, quickly, and regularly baptize people. It can be set up and taken down rather quickly. The water would be heated and it is safe for people to enter and exit. I saw one of these recently in Montgomery in a church and it worked beautifully. Sure, we could just budget it, but I believe God is going to move in response to prayer to see this provided for. So let's see what happens. Please pray.

Church Wide Picnic in September

Just a quick note to let you know that GRACE HOUSE and The ARK will be having a church wide picnic at 5:30 p.m at McFarland Park on Sunday, September 23th. We have enjoy food, fun, and fellowship. Mark your calendars and plan to be there. Anybody else like to play Bocce ball? PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE TO THE 23RD.

We are having a number of guest each week, so I encourage all of you our Grace House family to reach out to them. Don't assume that someone else has spoken to them or greeted them. We have such a loving atmosphere, we want to be sure everyone is exposed to it in a personal way. If you are unsure if someone is a guest, just approach them and ask, "I am not sure if we have we met, my name is ….." and go from there.

I am so grateful for all of you. You are amazing people. You are allowing God to move through you with such love and grace. There is no where I would rather be.

KINGDOM PLEASURES: Sermon Series

I began a sermon series in our Wednesday night service called KINGDOM PLEASURES. Unless directed otherwise, I will be continuing this in the morning. There is so much to learn about the environment that exists in Heaven that we can experience on Earth. I hope you will be present and bring a friend with you. This series is to help you experience God in your daily life as you experience just how much access you have to the Kingdom of God and its awesome power. Did you know that it gives Father God pleasure to give YOU the Kingdom?

Sunday Night, August 5th Regional Gathering at Grace House.

We (ARK and GRACE HOUSE) are honored to host the monthly regional gathering of churches at Grace House this weekend. Please make plans to be there and worship with us. Christ Chapel, Father's House, The ARK, and Grace House have been doing this together the last 18 months or so. It is always wonderful. The service begins at 6:00 p.m.

Be Baptized on Sunday, August 12th

On Sunday afternoon, August 12th, at 2:00 p.m., we will have a baptism service at Christ Chapel. We thank Pastor Doc for allowing us to use their facility. We and our ARK family will meet there to baptize several people.Several of you have already shared with us your desire to be baptized, so if any of the rest of you want to sign up, please let Mikki know.

Thanks to Our Worship Team

We are so grateful to our worship team members for their faithfulness in leading us in worship each week. Andrew is doing a great job as our worship leader and has just finished his first year. He will be away the next two Sundays, and we are happy to have Blake Sutton, this week, and Micah Walley, next week who will lead our team members in Andrew's absence. Pray for Andrew as he is away and for our worship team as well.

REMEMBER OUR "CHANGE FOR CHANGE" TOKEN OFFERING

Just a reminder for you about the prophetic word released on Wednesday night, June 20th, concerning the first three weeks in August. Basically, the word was an encouragement to expect tokens from the Lord the first 21 days of August with the knowledge that each of these blessings would be a token of much greater blessings to come to supply everything needed that God has called our church family to do. The word also spoke of unusual miracles and release and activation of spiritual gifts. Financial blessings, promotions, and more such be expected as well. I believe, as do several prophetic voices in our fellowship, that it is important for us to believe and sow into this season with expectancy. The Scripture teaches us that if we are faithful with little then more will be entrusted to us. Our testimonies and faith are all very important.

Yesterday, August 3rd, Mikki received a token. It was a check for money that was to be returned to her and it was 50% more than it would have to have been. What is really neat is that she felt the Lord had told her she would get a token on the 3rd.Yeah God! This is a token of restoration of what was lost. Others also have shared with us the tokens they are receiving.

During the month of August, we are asking you to bring your change (coins) each week. Beginning this coming Wednesday night, (August 1), there will be a huge container on the altar in the worship center for everyone, including our children, to give their change as a seed offering of the coming harvest of blessings. In other words, we will be sowing our "tokens" as well during this time. At the end of the month, this change offering will also be sown into a worthy cause outside of our local house. So there will be a lot of sowing going on and a lot of blessing taking place.

Let's all set our hearts to expect, believe, and rejoice at all the wonderful things the Lord is doing. Please let us know of any of these token blessings that you experience.

YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN MISSIONS!!!

In the past five months, through your giving, you have impacted congregations and ministers in Trinidad, provided a conference to educate students in Lauderdale County about the danger of drugs, ministered to pastors in Montana, helped provide soul care and goods for Native Americans in Wyoming, shared Jesus love with the neglected children of prostitutes who walk the streets of Pattaya, Thailand. We also had a small team who traveled to New Mexico to minister on an Indian Reservation. There are many stories of lives impacted through this Kingdom going and giving. Another missions trip is being prayed about and planned now to return to Carriacou, Petite Martinque, and possibly Trinidad.

Youth Get-Togethers

Mitch and Dana McGregor will be communicating with our youth concerning some get-togethers outside our church services just to have some fun hang-out time to experience and share the love of Jesus.

Supernatural School of Ministry

The Supernatural School of Ministry at the ARK will begin on Monday evening, September 10th. Please pray to see if you should attend this year. Also, there are several young people who desire to go but who need scholarship help. Pray about providing a scholarship or part of a scholarship to assist someone in becoming equipped to to release the Kingdom. Mikki and I will be helping teach this year and are very excited about being a part of this life changing experience.

City Pastors

We hosted the monthly city pastors meeting this past Friday morning. It was a wonderful meeting and we all enjoyed ham, sausage, biscuits, and chocolate gravy thanks to Sandra and Russell Harper. The pastors were able to also view our facilities and hear about the things happening in our midst. It was truly a good time.

Church Wide Picnic in September

Just a quick note to let you know that GRACE HOUSE and The ARK will be having a church wide picnic. This will be after Labor Day weekend, and we will give you the details a little later after we have secured our spot. Get ready to have a blast!

THE TOKENS ARE COMING

This past week, one of our members contacted me and shared that he had been praying into this word since it was given. The other day he received an unexpected check in the mail in excess of $2500.00 that related to something four years ago. He did not even know he was supposed to receive it. I believe he was able to reach forward with his faith and has already pulled one of these unexpected blessings (tokens) from the Lord into his life. Yesterday, I heard of another one of these testimonies which occurred in the ARK that was over $900.00. Of course, these blessings are not to be limited to financial, but the word did focus on finances and promotions. Pastor Phillip also was given a word about these sudden blessings beginning to happen. So the Lord is encouraging us to raise our faith level.

There are two things we (THE ARK AND GRACE HOUSE) will be doing to respond and prepare our hearts to honor the Lord for these blessings.

1. We want to receive a special offering and we want it to be used outside of our local house. So we will be sowing it into a very worthy cause. This special offering will be received tomorrow in the service to be given to the Ricketts Family who serve the Lord in Thailand. They minister to children on the streets of Pattaya who are targeted for the sex industry. These children of prostitutes really need the love of Jesus. The human trafficking there for sex is horrendous. The Ricketts will be sharing with GRACE HOUSE what they do there in Thailand and it is remarkable.

SKATE NITE – Monday Night

This Monday night, July 30, from 6-8 p.m. will be a skate night for all children of GRACE HOUSE and The ARK. Come join the fun at the skating rink for a little bit of holy rolling!!!

Prophetic Company and Intercessors Meeting this Tues.

This Tuesday night, July 31, at 6:30 p.m. I am asking our prophetic company and intercessors to meet with us. The Ark and their intercessors will be joining us. We Pastors feel the need for our intercessory covering to be be increased. We are asking you in this group to come and have a special time of praying over us. We certainly have seen an increased need for this kind of prayer. Thank all of you for your continued prayers.

BAPTISMAL SERVICE COMING UP!

On Sunday afternoon, August 12th, we will be having a baptism service. We are yet to finalize the time and place but the date is set. We will be joining our ARK family members and doing this together. Several of you have already shared with us your desire to be baptized, so if any of the rest of you want to sign up, please let Mikki know.

Church Wide Picnic in September

REVIVAL IS HERE!

I agree with Pastor Phillip's word from this past Wednesday night. We are experiencing a wonderful move of God in our midst and we need to celebrate it in our hearts, keep in in our prayers, and share it with our friends. God is pouring out wonderful blessings. People are being healed, lives are being transformed, faith is arising, and bondages are being broken. Now is the time to be pressing in and gaining ground. We feel we are on the edge of seeing this begin to manifest across our region.

Preaching in Montgomery

Mikki and I will be in Montgomery, AL, this weekend on a preaching assignment. Please pray that I will flow in the grace the Lord gives for Pastor Kyle Searcy's congregation. Pastor Kyle is a key apostolic leader in our state, and he and I both feel that this is a special assignment from the Lord for me to come an impart out of what is happening here in our region. It is also another step of restoration to see all God has planned for us fulfilled. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity and for praying for us. God is positioning our Church family to be an OUTPOST OF FREEDOM in our state. I do not believe any of us fully fathom the potential of what is happening in our midst.

Thank You For Your Flexibility

Thank you for your flexibility in adjusting to our new 9:00 a.m. format on Sunday mornings. We are getting started on time and enjoying a full worship service with the preaching of the Word. Remember to come early for breakfast and fellowship, The food is usually ready around 8:30 a.m. I also want to express appreciation for all our workers who are faithfully, serving, greeting, teaching, counting money, and more. You all are the best!!

We have experienced a lot of change, but we are moving forward into what the Lord has planned for us.

Communion This Sunday

This Sunday is the first Sunday and we will celebrate the Lord's Table together during the worship service. Thanks to our deacons who always have this ready for us and for those who help them in serving our people.

Prophetic Words

Expect "tokens" of blessings to come particularly in the first three weeks in August. The Lord spoke this to me recently. It will be a time of receiving blessing, promotion, and financial advance. These tokens will be prophetic pictures of the coming treasure needed to advance the Kingdom. It will be a sign of a much greater wave that will come later to supply everything needed for our church family to fulfill God's purpose and plans. In addition, there will also be a breaking forth of various people in our region in the use of spiritual gifts on a new scale just ahead.

This past Weds. night, Elder David Clark also released a word to the women in our region that is a time of liberty and getting your voices restored in the body of Christ.

Enjoy the Fourth with Friends and Family

The Wednesday night service this week is cancelled since it is the fourth of July. We want you to enjoy this national holiday with your friends and family.

Attend the Fervent Life Conference

Beginning Thursday, July 12 through Saturday July 14, there will be an exciting Fervent Life Conference at Christ Chapel. This conference is led by our awesome brothers and sisters from the ARK. The worship, teaching, and training will all be wonderful. The registration fee for the whole conference in only $20.00. Please consider attending all or at least a part of the conference. The evening sessions are open to the public on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening. More info at the table near the entrance to our worship center. Get on board and learn more of how to flow in the supernatural.

Smoothing Some Bumps

I want you to be aware that we continue to work on our sound system. We are so thankful to all the people who are helping us each week in the sound booth and on the stage. We are addressing some issues related to how our speakers are installed as well as working on components on the computer and mixing board side. We also are discussing more sound absorption materials. There are areas in the room that are certainly louder than others. Just want you to know, we are aware and working on it. Please be patient. Bring earplugs if needed while we get everything adjusted. Even then if it is a little louder than you like, the plugs will help reduce the noise so you will be more comfortable. We will continue to improve this area. And for any adults who prefer just the teaching part of the service, you are free to fellowship in the commons area until then. We certainly understand and will not draw wrong conclusions about what is best for you.

Virginia Was Great!

Thanks for your prayers this past weekend while Mikki and I were in Virginia ministering. We saw the Lord move with power through the word and ministry time. There were many healings and the Pastor felt the church was moved forward in answer to their prayers. It was truly a weekend of advancing into the supernatural and seeing the gifts operating in the church.

Wednesdays Are Wonderful!

I am very excited about our Wednesday evening happenings at Grace House. The couples class is growing, the preteens are growing, the children are having a blast, and the youth and adults are rocking out in the worship center. I am grateful to see the new Grace House people who are joining us on Wednesday evenings. We are enjoying, worship, the word, prophetic ministry, and powerful ministry times in the altar. If you enjoy a revival atmosphere, you will enjoy Wednesday nights at Grace House.

Our Weds. Night Couples

Our Wednesday night Couples in Christ Class are meeting in our children's worship area. If you are hungry to connect with other married couples and learn more about living the JESUS life in your marriage, join with Brian and Melissa Gregg and an awesome bunch of other couples at 6:30 p.m. This group also has regular fellowships outside of our regularly scheduled gatherings. They have fun doing life together.

Invitation to Weds. YOUTH Fellowship

The youth will meet each Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. for pizza and fellowship. At 6:30 p.m. they will enter the worship center for some great worship. This is an important time to connect and also learn about youth outings beyond the Weds. night fellowship time. Mitch and Dana McGregor invite you to join with them.

We are excited about all our preteens are learning as they meet on Wednesday nights and they have plans to do a human video for us in the future. They meet in the Craft/Play Pit area of the Children's Theater. Allison Fisher leads our preteens and welcomes all preteens to jump on board with them each week as well as the fun Summer activities that are in the works.

KINGDOM STATION – Weds. Children's Ministry

Jamie and Heather Ridinger from the ARK oversee this dynamic time for the children on Wednesday nights. The children begin in the worship area with the adults at 6:30 p.m. and then after a couple of songs they go together to their own theater. Watch for the KINGDOM STATION slide to appear on the big screen which signals the time for the children to leave for their own time together.

Week One Has Been Wonderful!

Well our first Sunday and Wednesday night services have been full of people, energy, and the Lord's presence. My cup runneth over! I know Jesus was smiling as we all met together and worshiped in unity and love. Father loves it when His kids enjoy being with Him and each other. Following below is information that will inform you of some adjustments we are making to improve and help things flow more smoothly.

Remember Tomorrow Service Starts at 9:00 a.m.

Let's all prepare to start on time tomorrow at our new time which will be 9 a.m. The breakfast bar will be ready around 8:30 a.m. so plan for this. It is important that we all remain flexible and adjust to these changes. The ARK will start the second service at 11:15 a.m.

Grace House Update from Pastor Eddie

Grace House and ARK Explosion

Well, Sunday is the big day that Grace House and the ARK will meet together to soar into the future together. In the natural this is something seldom seen….two growing churches deciding to do Kingdom together. I sincerely believe this to be the Lord leading us forward. I will share more about the reasons on Sunday. I know any change in the areas of our lives we rely upon for safety, security, and well being can be challenging.

As your pastor, let me assure you of a few things as we move ahead:

First, each of us is a part of what is happening. Each member of Grace House is valuable and important and you will be needed more than ever. Why? Because Father knows what all of us need, and in part, it's each other. This coming together will result in a lot of giving and receiving. Be sensitive to all the new people you will begin to see hanging around. Especially on Wednesdays we will have the opportunity to connect more as congregations. The ARK has lots of younger people and younger couples. We have more, how do I say it, ah…."Seasoned" people. Seriously, you have something to share and impart that is valuable. Sometimes, it may be a hug or smile, or an encouraging word. But the relationships that will develop will be used by God to impact lives and build a beautiful picture for our city to see. Please be willing and ready and take the initiative to spread God's love. This is the most powerful thing we can do. Do you remember a time in your life when an older person s poke life to you and it meant a lot? Most of us have had these defining moments.

Secondly, we are still Grace House. Remember we only had one service a week till a few months ago. We will still have that special time together on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. for our Grace House service. I do believe we will see some of our ARK family dropping in on some of our Sunday morning services too. Just don't want you to feel like things are completely changing. View it as God adding to our lives instead of taking something from us.

Thirdly, the Polaroids have not completely developed yet. In other words, none of us can see just how everything will fit together yet. So, let's be flexible and realize that God will grace us all to adjust. Let's be pliable in His hands and He will do a good job of making this what He desires it to be. God is at work in all of this to move all of us forward in developing a Christ honoring supernatural culture where God's presence is tangibly present in our city and region through the family of God. Family is God's idea.

Fourthly, the special combined service this Sunday will be powerful as we come together. I imagine it will be pretty packed. This special service will most likely be a little louder than normal. Like some of our team did in Trinidad recently, you may want to get earplugs/cotton balls to help cut the volume a bit. We will do what we can about this, but just realize this younger crowd is used to a little more "sound" than we normally have. Ready yourself for a great time and a lot of energy, praise, dancing, and an awesome time in the Lord.

Lastly, this Sunday you will have two different ways you can give your offering to Grace House. You can do as you always do and use our boxes on the wall or you may bring it forward to baskets we will have at the altar during the time we ask you to do so. Either way will be fine. Both we and the ARK will have designated containers for this.

Please know you are loved. I really appreciate the spirit you have all demonstrated in this big step of faith. Our family is growing! I really hope to see each of you there Sunday. This will be one of those days that marks our history and you do not need to miss it. I love you all dearly.

Two Congregations Become One Family

AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

As leaders of Grace House and The ARK respectively, we have reached what we believe to be a significant and Spirit-led decision which we believe is a result of what the Lord has stirred and spoken to our hearts over the past few months.

We are happy to announce that on Sunday, June 3, Grace House and The Ark will begin to partner together in a tangible way from the same location at 1946 Florence Blvd where Grace House is currently located. We will be two congregations who will minister together in one facility as one family to see our region transformed. We are making a commitment to partner in life and ministry by bringing together the generations represented in the two congregations. We believe this step of synergy has been orchestrated by the Holy Spirit and we are saying "Yes, Lord!".

We have a desire to come together and we believe it is a desire born of God for us do life and ministry together from one location. God is moving in our region to bring about a unity that results in the body beginning to more fully function as family.

This will be one family with two congregational expressions and styles of ministry. One family made of Grace House and The ARK. We will be one family with two different worship services where everyone can feel secure and loved.

To make sure everyone understands, we will still be Grace House and The ARK respectively, but committed to function as family in unity and purpose.

MORE SPECIFICS

We will each continue to have our own worship services on Sunday but we will meet together as a family on Wednesday nights. In this way, we are able to maintain our unique expressions of giftings, anointings, and style while enjoying the synergy and unity that comes from coming together on Wednesdays.

Wednesday evening will be the mid-week gathering where one family meets together at the same time to celebrate Father’s goodness. This will be a no-competition zone. This will be a family atmosphere permeated with grace and acceptance and filled with passion and purpose.

Beginning in June, each Sunday morning, Grace House will lead a service at 9:00 a.m. and The Ark will lead a worship service at 11:15 a.m.

Each Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m., we will all meet together with various optional ministry opportunities for everyone including nursery, children, preteen, youth, couples and worship.

There will also be the continuation of the ministries led by each congregation on other week nights just like before. You will also be able to contribute financially to your own congregation just as before. We think this actual step of faith to do life and ministry together in this way pleases the Lord.

Of course, we do not have the answers to everything that lies ahead, but we do believe this step is more than just sharing a facility; it is a step of commitment to minister together as family. Our hearts burn to see a household of faith and a habitation of God in the Spirit demonstrated tangibly to our region. We will do our best to keep all of you informed and on track with this significant step into the future. If this is for a season or a lifetime, we know Father will use it to His glory.

We believe this to be a step forward for all of us. We will be stronger together. We will endeavor to develop a culture of honor and a supernatural culture that will result in people encountering God and engaging His Kingdom. Though we will still have the unique anointings, giftings, and callings represented by both congregations, and will continue to keep those as they are, we feel that our coming together as family will bring favor and blessing upon us all.

Excitingly we will move forward together to see what Father has awaiting us as we work together as family to see our region and world touched by Father's awesome love and supernatural power.

Additionally, you will also have the opportunity to embrace and connect with your brothers and sisters from both congregations. Wednesdays will be a great time of building new relationships and going deeper together in the love of Christ.

In Christ we know we are all one family, but we feel this is a tangible step of faith to demonstrate before the world that we are one in Christ and stronger together.
