We are thrilled to be supportive of the ministry of Global Childrens Awareness (GCA) led by Jason and Sarah Ricketts. This precious family has spent the last four years in Thailand pouring into the lives of international children. With a heart to bring the love and transformation of Jesus Christ to the lives of children in Thailand in the darkest places, they are currently prayerfully seeking guidance about a bold and strategic move. Here is a paragraph concerning their vision:
The calling of GCA is to work on the 4-14 Window inside the 10-40 Window and to raise awareness of these situations worldwide. The 4-14 Window is the universal age range when children are most at risk for abuse, trafficking, addictions, and when bad habits are formed. It is also the age range when most decisions for religious beliefs are formed. The 10-40 Window is the shrinking window of the most unreached people in the world. Childhood is a special time God has given each of us. A time to enjoy life, friends, feel the warmth of family and be provided for. But the world has robbed many children of the gift of childhood. Rather than fun and play, all they know is work and abuse. If a child’s play things are glue and trash cans, if they learn aggression as a means of survival or from their elders, how will they ever grow up to be productive caring adults? If your role model is a thug or a pimp what possible outcome can there be?….
